What an "AI agent for ads" actually means now

An AI model like Claude is great at reasoning about numbers and making decisions. What it cannot do on its own is reach into your ad accounts and act. It needs a safe, structured connection to your campaigns.

There are three steps, and none of them involve writing code.

Step 1: Connect your accounts

Sign up for Xylo (free, no credit card) and connect your ad accounts. You sign in, authorize Meta, Google, or TikTok through their normal permission screens, and pick the account you want to manage. Your access tokens are encrypted with AES-256 and stored securely. Your AI agent never sees your credentials. It only ever asks Xylo to do things on your behalf.

Step 2: Point your AI app at Xylo

Add Xylo as a connector in the app you already use. The MCP endpoint is:

  • Claude (on claude.ai or in Claude Desktop): add Xylo under Connectors and sign in.
  • ChatGPT (any paid plan, on the web): add Xylo as a connector in Developer mode.
  • Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and anything else that speaks MCP work the same way.

That is the whole setup. There is no config file to edit and no key to paste into a JSON file.

Step 3: Start talking

Now you manage your ads by chatting. Ask a question, request a change, or ask for a report. The agent uses Xylo's 300+ ad operations, covering essentially every Ads Manager surface across Meta, Google, and TikTok, to do the actual work and report back.
