TikTok Ads, Run by Your AI Agent
Manage TikTok Ads in plain English. Connect once, then ask your AI assistant to build campaigns, adjust budgets, read performance, and report across platforms.
Hand your TikTok ads to an AI agent
TikTok has grown into one of the top three digital advertising channels in the world. It is also one of the more fiddly ad accounts to manage by hand. Different campaign structures, a separate reporting tool, GMV Max and Smart+ to learn, and an interface that changes often.
Xylo removes all of that. Xylo is a connector (an MCP server for TikTok Ads) that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant work directly inside your TikTok ad account. You connect your account once, point your AI app at Xylo, and then just talk to it. The agent does the real work and tells you what changed.
You do not write code. You do not learn an API. You do not export CSVs and stitch them together in a spreadsheet. You describe what you want, and the agent handles the clicks.
Launch a TikTok prospecting campaign at $75 a day, keep it paused, and walk me through the targeting before anything goes live.
That one sentence used to be an afternoon of work. Now it is a message.
How it works
Getting set up takes about a minute.
- Connect once. Sign in to Xylo, authorize TikTok (along with Meta and Google if you run them too) through a standard secure login, and pick your advertiser account. Your access tokens are encrypted (AES-256) and stored on Xylo's side. Your AI agent never sees your credentials.
- Ask in plain English. Open Claude, ChatGPT, or whichever assistant you use, and tell it what you want done in your TikTok account.
- Xylo does it. The agent uses 300+ ad operations across Meta, Google, and TikTok to do the actual work, then reports back with what it changed and why.
The Xylo connector lives at one endpoint: https://xylomcp.com/api/mcp. It works with Claude (on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, through Connectors), ChatGPT (any paid plan, on the web, in Developer mode), Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and anything else that speaks MCP. You add it once in your AI app's connector settings and you are done.
What you can actually do with TikTok
Xylo covers essentially every TikTok Ads Manager surface, the same way a hands-on media buyer would work. Here is the shape of it, in the language you would use with your agent.
Build and edit campaigns, ad groups, and ads
TikTok uses a three-level structure: a campaign holds your objective and budget, ad groups hold targeting and bids, and ads hold the creative. Your agent builds all three, in order, from a plain request.
Set up a conversions campaign for our spring promo. One ad group targeting women 25 to 44 in the US who follow beauty and skincare content, $60 a day, and load the three videos I uploaded as separate ads. Keep everything paused so I can review.
The agent creates the campaign, the ad group with that targeting, and the ads, then hands you back the structure to approve before anything spends.
You can edit just as easily.
Bump the budget on my best TikTok ad group to $120 a day and pause the two ad groups with cost per purchase over $30.
Read performance and diagnose problems
This is where most people lose hours. TikTok's reporting lives in a separate tool with its own dimensions and metrics. With Xylo, you just ask, and the agent pulls spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, and cost per conversion, then explains what it sees.
Why is my TikTok cost per purchase up this week? Compare it to last week, break it down by ad group, and tell me what changed.
The agent does not just dump numbers. It reads the trend, finds the ad group dragging the account, and tells you in sentences. Ask it to act, and it will.
Pause any TikTok ad whose CTR dropped below 1% over the last three days and tell me exactly what you paused.
Build audiences and find targeting
TikTok supports the same audience types you would expect: customer file audiences (uploaded from your customer list), engagement audiences (people who interacted with your TikTok content), website and app audiences (using the TikTok Pixel), and lookalikes built from a source audience. Your agent creates and manages all of them.
Build a lookalike audience on TikTok from my top customers list, then spin up a new ad group that targets it at $50 a day, paused.
For interest and behavior targeting, you do not need to memorize category IDs. Ask the agent to search for the right interests, behaviors, hashtags, or locations, and it finds them and applies them.
Find TikTok interest and behavior targeting for people into home fitness and meal prep, and show me the estimated audience size before you build the ad group.
Run GMV Max and Smart+ campaigns
TikTok's newer automated campaign types are fully supported. GMV Max optimizes toward shopping outcomes, and Smart+ is TikTok's automated, hands-off campaign engine. Your agent can create and manage both, and pull a bid recommendation so you are not guessing.
Create a GMV Max campaign on TikTok, recommend a starting bid, and tell me what you would set the budget to for a $5,000 monthly test.
Get an AI read on your creative
Xylo includes creative analysis built for performance, not vanity. Point the agent at a TikTok ad and it scores hook strength, retention, and messaging, and compares the result against your own account's KPIs (not a generic benchmark).
Analyze the creative on my top three TikTok ads and tell me which hook is actually holding viewers and which one drops off in the first two seconds.
One report across Meta, Google, and TikTok
If you run TikTok alongside Meta and Google, the real headache is comparing them. Three platforms, three definitions of "spend," three exports. Xylo normalizes all of it into one shape, so your agent can give you a single cross-platform report without any per-platform wrangling.
Give me one report for last week across Meta, Google, and TikTok. Total spend, total conversions, and cost per result by platform, and flag the worst performer.
You get a clean answer in one message, ready to forward to a client or a boss. You can even put it on a schedule.
Every Friday at 9am, send me a cross-platform summary of Meta, Google, and TikTok for the week, with the three things I should fix.
Safety is built in
Handing your ad accounts to an AI agent only works if it is safe. Xylo is designed for that.
- New campaigns are created paused. Nothing spends until you look at it and approve. The agent builds the structure; you flip the switch.
- Your credentials stay hidden. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256 and never exposed to the AI model. The agent acts through Xylo, not through your raw login.
- The agent tells you what it did. Every change comes back as a plain-English summary, so you always know what moved and why.
You stay in control. The agent just removes the busywork between your decision and the result.
What it costs
- Free. $0, no credit card. One ad account per platform across Meta, Google, and TikTok. Full connector access. 50 tool calls and 3 creative analyses per month.
- Brand, $67/mo. A 7-day free trial. Three ad accounts included (then $15 per extra, up to 11), unlimited tool calls, 20 creative analyses a month, bulk operations and campaign duplication, and 5 team seats. The most popular plan.
- Agency, $197/mo. 30 ad accounts included (then $12 per extra, unlimited), 50 creative analyses a month, per-account access controls, and 20 team seats.
Both paid plans offer an optional data-warehousing add-on, billed per account.
You can do real work on the free tier before you ever enter a card.
For developers (optional)
Most people reading this will never need an API. But if you are building your own integration, Xylo also exposes a clean REST API that normalizes TikTok, Meta, and Google behind one consistent interface, so you write your code once instead of three times.
The base URL is https://api.xylomcp.com. Authenticate with an x-api-key: xy_sk_... header, and for TikTok add x-tiktok-advertiser-id. TikTok endpoints live under /v1/tiktok/.... Responses come back in a single shape, { data, meta, paging? }, with budgets in dollars (not cents) and new campaigns defaulting to paused for safety. Pass ?refresh=true to bypass the cache.
curl "https://api.xylomcp.com/v1/tiktok/campaigns" \
-H "x-api-key: xy_sk_your_key_here" \
-H "x-tiktok-advertiser-id: 7123456789012345678"
Under the hood, Xylo talks to TikTok Marketing API v1.3 (and Meta Graph API v25.0 and Google Ads API v23), and absorbs the platform quirks for you: the token encryption, the separate reporting endpoint, the rate limits and automatic backoff. You get one stable interface and never touch any of it. See the API documentation for the full TikTok endpoint reference.
